The Social Science Index is an index of the social sciences published quarterly by the H.W. Wilson company.  Some of its’ information is included in the Social Science Citation Index, also produced by H.W. Wilson. 

Book Review Digest provides citations to and excerpts from book reviews published in 90 English-language periodicals from the social sciences, humanities, general sciences, and general interest.  They include such periodicals as magazines, scholarly periodicals, and periodicals for the library profession.  To be included the books reviewed must have been published or distributed in the United States or Canada.
